DIN 479 Square Bolts were previously used instead in place of hex bolts. DIN 479 Square Head bolts are easier to tighten using a wrench with a nut. With a square shaped head, these bolts are now used for old structures to match the previous bolts. Grade 5 is the most common grade used in manufacturing assembly. DIN 479 square head bolts have high demand in construction, electrical, steel and mechanical industries for fastening components and several equipment together.
