DIN 471 Circlips Washers are also known as retaining rings which is a fastener that holds components or assemblies onto a shaft or in a housing/bore when installed in a groove. Once installed, the exposed portion acts as a shoulder which retains the specific component or assembly. DIN 471 Circlips Washers or DIN 471 Retaining Rings are typically made from carbon steel, stainless steel or beryllium copper and may feature a variety of finishes for corrosion protection depending on the type of environment in which they are used. DIN 471 Circlips Washers or DIN 471 Retaining Rings are available in various types including DIN 471 Tapered Section Circlips, DIN 471 Constant Section Circlips and DIN 471 Spiral Circlips.

Our different types of Brass Electrical Parts are available as per custom requirements and our availability
Following are the Specification of Brass Electrical Parts:
  • SAE 1060-1090 Carbon Steel
  • A2 Stainless Steel
  • 304 Stainless Steel
  • Beryllium Steel
  • A4 Stainless Steel
  • Phosphatide for rust prevention.
  • Axially mounted on shafts or pins with a groove.
  • To retain the assembly with quiet high axial forces.
  • Constructed as curved beams of uniform strength.
  • Also to resist conical deformation where, for example, large abutment radii are present.
  • The radial width is reduced towards the free ends so that a constantly round shape is maintained throughout continuous use.
  • Available with Lugs with holes are provided for rapid fitting or removal with circlips pliers.
  • The most common form of axially fitted circlips for shafts with grooves.
  • Increased thickness with standard external series and in the case of the American series increased section depth.
  • Retaining rings are used for fixing of components on shafts and adapted to transfer axial forces.
  • Often used in assemblies subjected to strong centrifugal forces.
  • Secure against high rotational speed.
  • For used on splined shafts.
  • Transmitting very high axial forces.
