Metric DIN 137 Spring Washer available in both Type A and Type B. DIN 137 Spring Washers are specialty spring lock washers. DIN 137 Spring Lock washers are uninterrupted formed disks in either a curved or waved configuration that are non-directional allowing the screw and or nut to be tightened in a clockwise or counter clockwise manner. When compressed by tightening the nut, the DIN 137 Spring Lock Washers expert a spring force between the tightened bolt and the substrate creating frictional resistance to rotation.

  • Acid Resistant Steel A4
  • Steel Class 8.8, 10.9
  • Austenitic Steel
  • Excellent Corrosion Resistant and Reduced absorption of hydrogen.
  • Self-finished and oiled.
  • Positioned underneath a nut, an axial bearing, or a joint, to reduce friction, avoid leakage, isolate, stop loosening or distribute pressure.
  • Spring loaded fastening elements which operates via an axial spring system.
  • Bright or mechanically galvanized.
  • DIN 137 Spring Washer must be inserted into the screw before the thread rolling process in order to avoid any possible loss of the washer itself.
  • Allows rotation during screwing.
  • Designed to offer a compensating spring force and maintain a load or take up shock.
  • These are disks of irregular shape formed in such a way that when loaded it deflects and acts like a spring providing a preload between two surfaces.
  • Primarily used in screwed joint reinforcements where a lower locking force is required.
  • Used to eliminate axial play.
  • Recommended for locking lightweight components onto soft materials and where a higher torque is required.
  • DIN 137 Washer is recommended to lock mechanical parts where it is necessary to avoid damages on the bearing surfaces.
  • Very useful for limited radial space and moderate thrust load. Eg. Axial loading or Ball bearing.
